New generation turntables – Made in Europe

The stylish, CNC-milled chassis of the T1 contains no plastic parts and is made entirely without cavities, so that no unwanted vibrations can occur in the chassis. In keeping with this philosophy, the platter is made of solid glass. In contrast to plastic or light steel turntables, unwanted resonances are effectively suppressed. The turntable of the T1 is driven by a belt. This precisely transfers the driving force to the newly designed sub-plate, which in turn sits in the ultra-precise 0.001mm platter bearing with a hardened stainless steel shaft in a brass bush. The 8.6 “long tonearm consists of a single piece of aluminum and is equipped with low-friction bearings. The pre-assembled Ortofon OM 5E quality cartridge has already been adjusted and can therefore be used immediately. The scope of delivery also includes outstandingly shielded, quasi-symmetrical, low-capacitance Pro-Ject Phono cables.
